Jordan Cassel - PGA Head Professional

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I learned to play golf at the age of 10. Just a few years later I began working in the golf industry in 1989.  I worked at golf courses in high school and college while also playing on the golf teams for both.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Chico.  I left the golf industry for a few years but my love for the game brought me back to Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, Ca where I enjoyed working as a golf professional for 16 years.  Working at such a famous place provided me with the opportunity to meet and work with a wide variety of people with a wide variety of golfing abilities. I enjoy teaching the game to individuals of all skill levels. From juniors all the way through to the advanced level.

Each individual has different goals and differing abilities.  I like to fully understand these within each student.  We can then assess the best approach for developing techniques that complement each individual. Golf is most enjoyable when positive results are achieved.  My objective is to help golfers at any level, fundamentally improve their swing; and their game.

Drew McDonald - Associate PGA Professional

I graduated from Boise State in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. Golf has always been a part of my life growing up, whether it was playing with my dad or childhood friends at my local muni West Seattle Golf Course or watching the sport on TV. I remember feeling the most joy watching The Open Championship early in the mornings with my dad and brother. It seemed to me watching the tournament that this was the way golf was meant to be played, also the courses in Scotland always caught my attention. I still hope to make it there one day! In college I pursued another sport competitively which was distance running. I was fortunate enough to get a college scholarship at Boise State and comepeted there for 4 years. After school, I chose my first love being golf and have been actively pursuing PGA membership through the Professional Golf Management program. Everything I learned in my time running has made me a better player and coach in golf.

I am entering my fourth season as a golf professional at BanBury. In 2021 I gave over 100+ lessons to both juniors and adults. I truly love the game of golf with all my heart and I truly believe and live the motto of trying to get a little better each day. I want to help each and all of you accomplish your golfing goals and I believe each individual learns and understands the game different. I am always willing to adapt to your specific style and goals and am excited to become your next coach.
